The NFCC Reaffirmation of Accreditation website provides SACSCOC reviewers with the information necessary to establish NFCC's compliance with the Commission's Principles of Accreditation and Policy on Substantive Change. The materials presented herein illustrate NFCC’s ongoing dedication to quality improvement and commitment to the standards of the Commission on Colleges.
North Florida Community College, a public community college, has conducted the compliance audit according to the principles and philosophy of SACSCOC. The College commits itself to the adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by the Commission on Colleges and pledges to fulfill this commitment with complete integrity. The College is in full agreement with the principles and philosophy of accreditation, including the commitment to providing quality education through continuous improvement.
The 2014 Compliance Certification, validated by President John Grosskopf and SACSCOC Liaison Susan Taylor, attests to compliance with the accreditation requirements of the Commission on Colleges. The audit covered all aspects of the operation of the institution, as outlined in the Commission’s The Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement. NFCC welcomes a careful examination of its operations and freely provides access to complete and accurate information pertinent to the operation and governance of the institution.
North Florida Community College was first accredited in 1963 and continues to maintain recognized standards of practice for achieving quality education. In seeking reaffirmation of accreditation from SACSCOC, North Florida Community College:
› attests to its commitment and intent to comply with the criteria of the Commission on Colleges
› understands and accepts that the Commission on Colleges, at its discretion, may make known to any agency or member of the public that may request such information, the nature of any action, positive or negative, regarding its status with the Commission; and
› agrees to disclose to the Commission on Colleges any and all such information as the Commission may require to carry out its evaluation and accreditation functions.
